The previous occupant left us with a bunch of gravel... He had a little grill set up on the patio, but we want NATURE, by gollum.

That's a Lantana tree in the foreground. It'll attract butterflies.
After:
In the foreground is our lime tree (!). Sage is in the middle, the Lantana tree in the back. There's another "after" photo in the previous post, shot from our deck.
Theresa loves the lime tree! So does Andrew. It smells of limes!
And, finally, a little post-hard-work refreshment, with accompaniment by (you guessed it) the lime tree:

the flowerbed is really nice!
we have some plants we are alternately watering and not watering to death, we bought some plant food to see if that would help. my favorite is the goldfish plant, it doesn't care whether we water or not and looks like it has lots of little gold fish all over it. very pretty!
